Practitioners
Sessions are offered by cerfified and trained Jikiden Reiki practitioners.
There are many kinds of Reiki available today, and they are all wonderful in its own way. What drew us to Jikiden Reiki was the the simplicity of the method - unchanged from the original method passed down by Chujiro Hayashi to Mrs Yamaguchi and her family. Without having any influence by other culture nor other healing modality, Jikiden Reiki preserved the Reiki as it was in 1930s and successfully treating people since then.
If you have any concerns or questions, you can always contact Mari Okazaki, Jikiden Reiki Dai Shihan teacher (Grand Teacher), who provides on-going support for Jikiden Reiki practitioners who are dedicated to their Reiki practice,
Jikiden Reiki
The Japanese Word “Jikiden” means directly passed down, and this is what we set out to concentrate upon: The essence of Reiki. It is pure, simple and effective.
Wisdom from over 65 years of experience. The Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai (Institute) was founded in Kyoto in 1999 by Tadao Yamaguchi and his mother Chiyoko Yamaguchi. Mrs. Yamaguchi started Reiki training with Dr. Chujiro Hayashi (one of the student of the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui) in 1938 and practiced Reiki every day until she passed away in 2003.
The main branch of the Jikiden Reiki Institute is still located in Kyoto. In the meantime there are certified practitioners and teachers all over the world.
