Mari Okazaki

Mari is a mother of three, originally from Nagasaki, Japan, and resides in Chilliwack, BC, Canada.  She offers Reiki sessions in her Reiki room on a daily basis, and teaches Shoden (Level 1) and Okuden(Level 2) certification classes regularly, and Shihankaku (assistant teacher) classes upon requests. She is the organizer and translator for the Jikiden Reiki Vancouver seminar with Mr. Tadao Yamaguchi, the founder of the Jikiden Reiki Institute. She continues to use Reiki to help her family, her friends and herself. Mari has been offering reiki sessions at the Chilliwack Hospice Society as a volunteer for terminal care patients. Mari believes that Reiki brings peace and calmness for the patients and family members who are experiencing a life transition. She is also a volunteer for a suicide bereavement group as a co-facilitator and brings the healing power of music through her harp.
