Mari is originally from Nagasaki, Japan, now lives in Chilliwack, BC, Canada, with her husband and three children since 1999. She is a full time Reiki practitioner and offers private Reiki sessions for people in all ages, animals at her home studio and also she does home visits. She offers Jikiden Reiki Shoden and Okuden (practitioners level) and Shihankaku course (teacher training). She learned Reiki for the first time in 2005, and retrained at Jikiden Reiki seminar with Tadao Yamaguchi. She continues to learn with Mr.Yamaguchi every year in Vancouver, Halifax and Japan. 

 

Mari's words ;  

 "When I learned Jikiden Reiki with Mr. Tadao Yamaguchi in 2006, my understanding of Reiki was especially deepened. I felt the same historical depth and cultural connection as if I was learning a traditional arts like Sado (traditional tea ceremony), Kado (traditional flower arrangement). I was absolutely fascinated by the beauty of the Japanese healing art, and had decided to continue to learn Shihankaku in 2007, Shihan in 2008 to be able to teach classes. 

 It was my absolute honour to receive the 11th Dai-Shihan certificate in 2013 May. From then, I will be able to conduct Shihankaku classes"
